Hi Julie,

I wanted to share a photo of our pups, which we adopted from you in February 2013. They are about to celebrate their thirteenth birthday! Lacey is on the right and Mickey is on the left. Their “parents” were Reese and Eddie and Molly and Eddie.

These two have been an absolute delight and great addition to our family. They both have personality with a capital “P” while being very sweet and compliant. We have never cut their hair. They go to the groomer about twice a month for a touch-up and I find them easy to care for. Also, I think they are just adorable with their long coats. (Very biased opinion I will admit.)

I hope you are well. I look at your website all the time and watch your videos on YouTube. I have watched the video you took of our pups’ first outside walk in the snow many times and love being able to see that these two were buddies from the start.

If you are considering making a havanese a part of your family, you can’t do better than a Heavenly Havanese! Julie and her family are dedicated to their dogs and puppies. From the moment the puppies are born they are truly a part of the family. We currently have three havanese from Julie, a 4 year old named Hannah, a 3 year old named Holly & a 8 month old named Chloe. They each have their own personality, but all 3 are extremely loving and very smart. I would not hesitate to get another puppy from Heavenly Havanese. Julie breeds for the love of the breed! I am beyond impressed with the time she & her family spends with each puppy socializing them and helping them to develop confident loving personalities. 100% I recommend Julie & Heavenly Havanese!!!

Julie, we love the newly-updated Heavenly Havanese website! It so accurately captures how well your puppies are cared for until they meet their forever families! It’s been 2 ½ years since little Reggie joined our family and we love him so much. He’s enjoying his best life perching atop the couch watching the world go by out the back window — from barking at the deer or making sure the dogs in the neighborhood know who’s the boss – it is 10-pound Reggie! This past March we adopted our second of your Havanese pups. Her name is Chloe and she was and is a wonderful bundle of energy.

Bottom Line: One is NOT enough. We got our Biz from Heavenly Havanese first and fell in love immediately. He joined our Burton who was also a Havanese. Burton was 15 years old and he died just days after we got Biz. We were devastated, but Biz brought so much JOY into our lives that it really helped all of us learn to live without Burton. A little while later we saw Whit on the Heavenly Havanese site. We kept watching and then felt it was just meant to be. We were right. Whit joined our family and instantly doubled the joy. Biz and Whit are best friends and have been inseparable from day one. They play together all day long and make us laugh daily. They really are the best puppies and in our opinion the best breed. I just cannot say enough wonderful things about Heavenly Havanese. From the initial contact until pick up of our beloved Murphy, the entire experience was top notch. Our a little Murphy brings us so much joy and love, and he makes us laugh and smile every day! He is a smart, loving little guy. I was thrilled to know that these pups are raised in a social environment and not just spend their days locked up in a cage. The breeder lives in a country setting, so the puppies get to run and be free to play. When we initially went to pick out the puppy for us, we looked at two of them and Murphy picked us! It was a match made in heaven and he is such a well-rounded little social puppy. When we took Murphy for his initial vet visit, our vet declared him to be a happy and healthy puppy. He doesn’t bark, he loves people and he loves to play tug-of-war. When we brought Murphy home, Julie gave us a supply of puppy food, and also a piece of blanket, that Betty, the mom, laid on, so Murphy felt at home. I could not be more grateful for my Heavenly Havanese puppy. His name is Chef and he just turned 1. This first year with him has been the best— don’t know why I waited so long to get a Havanese of my own and now I’m dying for another! Chef was so easy to train, such a great listener and very obedient, we didn’t even have to take him to puppy school. He lives the life— from playing with his half brother Cash to boating to traveling on car rides to playing in the yard to coming with me to work in the office every day.

It had been over 10 years since Sarah and Emily had passed away from old age. We were a family for 16 years and they had been together since they were puppies. Losing them just 6 months apart was a terrible loss to me and the family we became. Though I felt alone, reliving that experience was the last thing I wanted to do. One day I began to explore and somehow came upon Julie of Heavenly Havanese. I had Dachshunds prior and was certain I would get another….. but something lead me to her website and the world of the Havanese. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor in Julie. Her selfless responsive attention and availability to my questions and my own
journey was more than I could have hoped or asked for. She was able to sense my needs immediately and together we began a journey to find the one who would choose me in the end.

It was love at first site when I met Eden. Julie knew we would be a match and I felt the connection when she walked over, looked at me and curled up in my lap letting me know that we were going home.

It has been 2.5 years since that wonderful day and the bond Eden and I have with each other with immeasurable. Though I have learned that I live in her house, Eden is the loving, devoted and smart companion that I realized I had missed so much. In a few closing words. Thank you to Julie and her family for not only finding the love of my life, but for shaping Eden into the wonderful little girl that she is. I am truly the lucky one!!!

We knew we wanted a Havanese puppy and did extensive research to find a good breeder. Although Heavenly Havanese was far from our home in Brooklyn, NY, we were impressed by Julie and how she raised her puppies in her own home. Every interaction with Julie was a delight! You could tell how much she loved every puppy and each one was more adorable than the next, so that made it impossible to choose. We decided on a red sable-colored male— such an unusual and rich color! We had just returned from a vacation in Spain when Julie told us that the litter with our puppy was ready to come home. And we couldn’t imagine getting on another plane to pick up the puppy since we were tired and jet lagged. But Julie then offered to drive the puppy to us! Of course, we were amazed and relieved! Now that was dedication!
We’ve had the puppy, who we named Patxi (a Basque name) for a little over a year now and couldn’t be happier. He’s a well adjusted, smart, lovable, friendly and active dog. He impresses everyone who sees him. Heavenly Havanese and Julie are the best!!

Heavenly Havanese is the place to go if you are looking for a Havanese puppy. Our Theo is an amazing puppy and we are extremely blessed to have him. The atmosphere that they raise these puppies in along with their parents is incredible. It is a country setting where the puppies and dogs can run together and play as opposed to cages and crates that most breeders probably have. I was told to go to Petfinder to get my puppy but you don’t really know where the puppies are kept and how the parents are treated. At Heavenly Havanese, you can meet the parents and see where the puppies are raised. Top Notch!!!! I couldn’t believe that when we first got there, the mother allowed me to pick her up and cuddle her without her even knowing me. It was extremely touching especially since she resembled my 14 year old Havanese that we lost in January. We will be getting another puppy and when we do, it will definitely be from Heavenly Havanese 😊!!! Thank you soooo much Julie for not only our Theo but also for your words of encouragement and wisdom with new puppyhood 😊!!!!!
